“After having my first baby, I was unhappy and depressed. Kathy has helped me realize how therapeutic exercise can be. Without Kathy, I could not have fit exercise into my life.

I now look forward to spending “my hour” to take care of me. The time I’ve spent losing inches and pounds has truly changed my life and I’m a better mom and wife because of it.”

Personal Training Plans

One-on-One Weekly Personal Training

One-on-One Weekly Personal Training is the plan we recommend for most clients. Meeting with Kathy at regularly scheduled intervals ensures that you keep focused on your goals, maintain momentum, and receive timely support and encouragement. It is the plan of choice for those with agressive fitness goals, those who are visually-oriented and learn best with face-to-face demonstrations, and those who respond better when they need to account to someone else.

One-on-One Weekly Personal Training is most effective if done weekly or biweekly. A minimum commitment of 2 sessions per month for 2 months is highly recommended to help you achieve your fitness goals.

One-on-One Weekly Personal Training includes:
  • One face-to-face personal training session with Kathy per week or two sessions per month
  • Customized Fitness Program
  • Weekly Inspirational Messages
  • Unlimited access to YourBestNet*
  • Unlimited access to your personal online food and exercise journals
  • Unlimited e-mail access to Kathy

Your customized fitness program may include:
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Weight training
  • Cardiovascular work
  • Stretching
  • Motivational support

You and Kathy decide the location of your training session. The location could be your home, your workplace, Kathy's home, a local park or gym.

Strengthening your “core” muscles, the deep muscles of the abdomen, back and hips, can be fun and creative when you use fitness props such as physio balls, medicine balls, elastic tubing and free weights. These props do a much better job of improving core stability and strength than gym based machines, which do not work the muscles in a functional capacity.
Kathy will give you a login key that allows you full access to YourBestNet*, Personal Best Personal Training's online library of helpful information and personal training tools. Once inside YourBestNet, you will create and maintain your food and exercise journals.
